Are you going to do your personal annual review?

It's that time of the year. No, we are not talking about Christmas shopping. Another year has passed, with its highs and lows. How do you feel about it? May-be you've opened your own dental practice or you've decided to start a new degree. Whatever you decided to do, it's always good to pause and look back. How do you feel about what you've achieved? And would would you do differently, if anything? The successful life coach James Clear, whom we've been following for a while now, recommends to do a personal annual review. To make it easy, he says, think about:

  1. What went well this year?
  2. What didn’t go so well this year?
  3. What am I working toward?

He publishes his personal review every year on his web site, check it out, it may be an inspiration to write your own. Question number 3, that looks at the future, is particularly important when thinking what your priorities will be next year. What's your vision? Where do you want to be in 3, 5 years from now? Write it down somewhere. Revisit it from time to time  and, tweak it, if needed. Now, what will you do to get there? if you've not done it already, have a look at one of our blog posts on how to be effective in getting where you want to be.
