Dr. Carlos Bettoni, DDS

Dr. Carlos Henrique Bettoni Cruz de Castro graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in 1995. Between 2003 to 2005 he was resident at the rehabilitation hospital of craniofacial anomalies, department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of São Paulo (USP).

He obtained an MSc in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology at University of São Paulo (USP) in 2005-06. He then specialised in implant dentistry at the ABO institute.

He is currently professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Minas (PUC MINAS). He is also an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Materdei Hospital, São Camillo Children’s Hospital at Belohorizonte, Minas Gerais.

Dr. Bettoni's main research focus is on implant dentistry, guided bone regeneration, oral and maxillofacial pathology. He has published many scientific papers and has been involved in many research projects.
