Mr Alfonso Caiazzo, DDS

Mr Alfonso Caiazzo got his dental degree at the University of Naples, Italy, in 1991. He went through a residency programme in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at TUFTS University in Boston, USA from 1993 to 1997 and became Clinical Lecturer in the department of Oral Surgery of the same university in 1998. From 1997 to 1999 he did a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at the New York University, New York USA. He's got a certificate in Wilckodontics. He was President Elect of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry (SICOI) in 2015-2016. Today, he's Visiting  Assistant Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the Henry M. Goldman School of  Dental Medicine (Boston University) and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Mr Caiazzo is a founding member of the IAO (Italian Academy of Osteointegration) and the European Society of Dental & Craniofacial Stem Cells (ESDCSC). He acts as Vice President IAO (Italian Academy of Osteointegration) and he's a Fellow of the European Federation of Oral Surgery Societies (EFOSS). He's co-editor of the book "Orthodontically Driven Corticotomy", Wiley-Blackwell 2015 and co-author of the "Implant dentistry in Oral Surgery" chapter in the book "General Dentist", Wiley-Blackwell 2015. He's author of several articles in international journals and sits in the Editorial Board of Advances in Dentistry and Oral Health (ADOH). He works out of Salerno, Italy, and his practice is focused on Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry.
