Zygomatic Implants Hands On Course | 12 February 2022 | Manchester

Aims

To increase the knowledge of postgraduate students, dental practitioners and specialist in treating patients with severely atrophic maxillae. This introductory course will detail and consider factors from patient selection, treatment planning, surgical placement and prosthetic rehabilitation.

Objectives

CPD 6.5 hours (Introductory) and CPD 8 hours (Hands on Training)

Development outcomes: B & C

// Review anatomical and biological considerations of the maxilla and zygomatic bone.
// Understand treatment planning, including considerations for the provisional and definitive prostheses - Understand the three basic techniques for zygoma implant placement: inter-sinus, extra-sinus, and
extra-maxillary.

// Discuss the management of complications and maintenance of zygomatic implants - Prosthetic solutions for zygomatic implants.
