What you will learn:
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to manage and assess patients undergoing dental treatments under sedation. You will learn a solid knowledge of Inhalation Conscious Sedation in dentistry and will be able to manage anxious patients before and after sedation.
Note: this is a CPD course and will give you 8 verifiable CPDs. This course should be supplemented by supervised clinical training to gain competency for independent practice. You require 10 supervised administrations of inhalation sedation to do that. This course is not meant to do this.

Our trainer: Mr Roberto Sacco, CDT, DDS, MSc, Pg Cert Sed
Mr Roberto Sacco is a UK registered Oral Surgeon. He works as Oral Surgery Specialist - Honorary Clinical Teacher at King’s College Hospital in London and is Clinical Lecturer at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He holds a Certificate in Dental Sedation and Pain Management from UCL- Eastman Dental Institute and is Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow - Sedation Deputy Director at the same university. Mr Sacco has completed more than 2,000 oral surgery cases, 500 conscious sedation cases, and has published more than 20 scientific articles as well as book chapters. He's an external examiner for the Diploma of Primary Care in Oral Surgery at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England. Learn more about Mr Sacco.
